Privacy Policy

The short version

Superset stores your workouts on your iPhone. If you create an account, a copy is mirrored to a private space in the cloud so you can restore it on a new phone. Voice recordings and pasted routines are sent to an AI model to be turned into structured workouts. Nothing is sold, and there is no advertising SDK in the app.

What Superset stores

• Your workouts — exercises, sets, reps, weights, dates, routines and custom exercises you create.
• Your settings — preferred units, training style, and coach preferences.
• Your account — if you sign in, an account identifier and the email address associated with it. Sign in with Apple is supported, including Apple’s private relay addresses.
• Subscription status — whether Premium is active, handled by RevenueCat. Superset never sees your card details; Apple processes all payments.
• Crash and usage diagnostics — via Firebase Crashlytics and Firebase Analytics, so that faults can be found and fixed.

What leaves your phone, and when

Most of the app never sends anything anywhere. Manual logging, your history, the progress dashboard and the full exercise library are read from local storage and work with no connection.

Three things do leave your device:

• Voice recordings. When you log by voice, the audio is sent through Firebase AI Logic to Google’s Gemini model, which returns the exercises, sets, reps and weights it heard. The recording is sent to be interpreted, not to be published or shared.
• Pasted routines. When you import a plan, the text you paste is sent the same way so it can be split into training days.
• Your workout history, if you sign in. It is mirrored to Cloud Firestore under your own account identifier so it can be restored later, and so the coach can generate insights.

No advertising, no ad tracking

Superset contains no advertising SDK. It does not collect the Advertising Identifier (IDFA), does not ask for App Tracking Transparency permission, and does not track you across other companies’ apps or websites.

Who processes your data

• Google Firebase (Authentication, Cloud Firestore, App Check, Crashlytics, Analytics) — accounts, cloud backup, abuse prevention and diagnostics.
• Google Gemini, via Firebase AI Logic — turning voice recordings and pasted routines into structured workouts.
• RevenueCat — subscription entitlement status.
• Apple — App Store payments and, if you use it, Sign in with Apple.

Deleting everything

Settings → Account → Delete Account erases your workouts from the cloud and from the phone, and removes the account itself. It is not a soft delete and there is no recovery afterwards, so export or note anything you want to keep first.

Deleting the app without deleting your account leaves the cloud copy in place, which is what lets a reinstall restore your history.

Children

Superset is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect their data.
